When planning a photography trip to this location, please keep in mind the following essential details:

Entry Fee: A fee of $15 per vehicle is required for access to the photo location. Be sure to have the necessary payment ready upon arrival.

Bug Season: During the months of April to June, I refrain from taking photos at Antelope Island due to the extreme bug presence in the area. To avoid any inconvenience during your shoot, it's advisable to take appropriate measures, such as wearing bug spray or protective clothing.

Best Time for Photography: The golden hour, the last hour before sunset, offers the most magical lighting conditions for capturing stunning images. Ensure you plan your photo sessions during this time to make the most of it.

Creative Opportunities after Sunset: Don't let the darkness deter you from taking captivating photos. With the use of a portable light source, you can continue shooting even after the sun has set, opening up new possibilities for creating mesmerizing sunset images.

Pets - Pets must be on a maximum six-foot leash and under control at all times. Dogs and horses are not allowed on the beach or the Frary Peak Trail. Horses must remain in designated hitching areas when not on the trail. Horses are not allowed in ranch area. Dogs are not allowed on the Sentry Trail.

Antelope Island State Park ranks among my favorite Utah photography locations.
