Nestled in the heart of the Wasatch Range in Utah, is a breathtaking and immersive journey through some of the most stunning natural landscapes the state has to offer. This scenic byway is a 38-mile route that winds through the rugged beauty of the Uinta National Forest and the Payson Canyon, offering travelers a taste of Utah's outdoor paradise. A client shared the existence of this secluded and private location with me, and I pledged to maintain its secrecy, disclosing it solely to the clients who have made reservations to visit this location for family, engagement or bridal photos.

Fall Colors: The best fall colors here are generally found September 25th through October 20th.
Some of the common trees you can find in Nephi Canyon include:
Douglas Fir: These evergreen trees are prevalent in higher elevations and are known for their tall, straight trunks and needle-like leaves.
Quaking Aspen: Quaking aspens are easily recognizable by their distinctive white bark and shimmering leaves, which "quake" or tremble in the breeze.
Engelmann Spruce: This coniferous tree is native to the Rocky Mountains and can be found in the higher elevations of Nephi Canyon.
Blue Spruce: Blue spruce trees are known for their bluish-gray needles and are commonly seen in the area.
Lodgepole Pine: These slender pine trees are adapted to grow in various soil types and can be found in both lower and higher elevations of the canyon.
Subalpine Fir: As the name suggests, these firs thrive at higher altitudes and are well-suited to the mountainous terrain of Nephi Canyon.
Mountain Maple: This deciduous tree is known for its vibrant fall foliage and can be found in the canyon's understory.
