Address: Silver Lake is located at the top of Big Cottonwood Canyon. Approximately 30 miles from downtown Salt Lake City. I prefer to meet at the bottom of the canyon where you will then follow me up toward the top.

Meeting Address: 8073 Big Cottonwood Canyon Rd, Brighton, UT 84121 – Silver Lake Visitor Center (There IS cell phone service at the top of Big Cottonwood Canyon) – View on Google Maps HERE

Additional Notes: The prime season for this location is when the fall leaves our out (September 20th – October 10th). The fall leaves will shed earlier than down in the valley since it is a higher altitude. I highly recommend bringing a warm jacket even during the summer months. Pets are not allowed. Silver Lake can get a lot of mosquitoes during the warm month of July. I recommend wearing long sleeves and wearing bug spray. This picturesque high-mountain lake, cradled within a small valley, boasts breathtaking views of mountain vistas and dense pine forests that serve as the perfect backdrop for stunning portraits.
