Summer wildflowers cover Albion Basin, with a colorful tapestry that includes lupine, Indian paintbrush, American bistort, sunflowers, and fireweed. The prime weeks for wildflowers in Albion Basin typically span from the final week of July through the second or third week of August. Don't forget to pack insect repellent! The area can have bugs and mosquitoes.

During wildflower season, it’s best to schedule portrait sessions in the morning to avoid the crowds. I don’t shoot here in the evenings that time of year, as it tends to be far too busy.
