Ponds Park in Kaysville, Utah is a community green space centered around the Kaysville Ponds, which are also part of the USU Botanical Center and managed in partnership with Utah State University Extension. The ponds were created in the mid‑1990s originally for stormwater management and later developed into an urban fishery and nature space. There are four ponds (Blood’s Pond, Slough Pond, Barton’s Pond, and South Pond), with Slough Pond bordering the LEED‑Platinum Wetland Discovery Point building, used for education and community events. Natural wetlands around the ponds filter storm runoff before it reaches the Great Salt Lake, improving water quality and providing habitat for wildlife. A paved loop of 1.5 miles circles the ponds, ideal for walking, jogging and birding. Fishing is allowed with a Utah license; the ponds are stocked with rainbow trout, largemouth bass, bluegill, and channel catfish by Utah Division of Wildlife Resources.
